The Clare White Gallery specialises in selling high-quality contemporary Cornish art from its base in the north of England.
Indeed, it aims to be ‘a little piece of Cornwall in the north’.
Come and visit us in the former coal mining village of Elsecar, Barnsley. You’ll find us within the old ironworks and colliery workshops of the Earl Fitzwilliam’s estate.
Our gallery exhibits a wide range of original paintings, prints, ceramics, textiles and jewellery – predominantly produced in the south west.
We are also the primary outlet for the work of acclaimed St Ives water colourist Clare White (1903 -1997) and the gallery is named in her honour.
